Framed by the lush greenery of a nearby park, this residence was envisioned as a peaceful retreat for a family of four who longed for a home filled with light, order, and warmth. The couple, both professionals in the tech industry, wanted a space that could serve as an emotional sanctuary and a place where each family member could feel truly accompanied. The design began with their precise needs for storage, light, and living rhythm, translating them into a palette of soft tones, flowing circulation, and layered functionality. The aesthetic merges modern and Nordic influences, transforming every corner of the home into a safe, interactive haven.
The home’s core revolves around a triangular configuration formed by the kitchen island, dining table, and hidden storage room. The designers transformed a previously enclosed kitchen into an open, social space by crafting an L-shaped island that supports both function and conversation. Concealed behind the dining cabinet, the storage room is the project’s hidden powerhouse, managing visual clutter while keeping the surrounding areas light and airy. A pull-up bar for the fitness-minded homeowner is subtly embedded within the storage zone, showcasing the flexibility and integration of hidden functions.
The entryway sets the tone with jungle-inspired hexagonal tiles, gray mirror accents, and rattan cabinetry, infusing a soft, natural welcome. Moving into the living room, the TV wall and sofa backdrop are finished in artistic plaster, continuing the theme of clean, minimal design. In the master bedroom, matte gray fabric-textured panels add depth and calm, while a full-height mirror amplifies the sense of lightness. Lighting choices vary by function and area—linear or square lights are used accordingly to maintain simplicity and depth.
